4 DAYS BWINDI IMPENETRABLE, QUEEN ELIZABETH PARK, LAKE BUNYONYI ANDCOMMUNITY TOUR
DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1. Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, after noon boat cruise and evening game drive.
After breakfast your safari guide will pick you up to head to Queen Elizabeth National Park about 7 hour’s drive in the southwest of Uganda. Drive from Kampala towards the west and have a stopover at the Equator for handcrafts and photographs. After this continue with your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park fronted by magnificent Rwenzori mountain range for much of your journey. Check in to lodge for lunch and then in the afternoon go for a 2-hour boat cruise running along the Kazinga channel that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. The cruise offers you an opportunity to see at close range the highest concentration of water, hippos, and species of migrant birds plus crocodiles drinking and resting at water edges. The cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching, and game viewing. Take on an evening game drive in the Kasenyi sector to explore wild game in their evening moments to animals like buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, and bushbucks and then transfer to the lodge for a night.

Day 2. Morning wildlife safari and transfer to Bwindi.
After breakfast, then embark on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi track and Queen’s mile in the park. You will have a chance to see lions, leopards, elephants, topi, Kobs, buffaloes among others. After the game drive, head to Bwindi Impenetrable National park via Ishasha. You will have chances of seeing climbing lions. Ishasha also supports buffaloes, waterbucks and Kobs which can be viewed along the way to Bwindi, arriving in the evening for relaxation, dinner. OVERNIGHT AT GORILLA MIST CAMP.
Day 3. Gorillas trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, boat cruise in Lake Bunyonyi.
You will wake up early to take your breakfast then go for briefing at the park office at 7am. This briefing prepares you for your time with the primates. It is also during briefing that gorilla groups are assigned and porters are hired to help with any heavy luggage. The rangers will take you deep into the forest in search of the primates. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi takes between 2-6 hours depending on the gorilla group you are assigned. Sometimes you will walk through dense vegetation, valleys, streams, and hills before finding the gorilla group. Take as many photos as you can and follow instructions from the ranger guides. After the one-hour trek, you will return back to the offices where you will meet our driver guide to transfer you to Lake Bunyonyi through the Kigezi highlands where locals apply terracing method to cultivate their slopes. You will arrive at Lake Bunyonyi in the afternoon, have lunch and then go for a boat cruise to explore the second deepest lake in Africa with 29 islands. Go to the lodge for relaxation and dinner.

Day 4. Transfer back to Entebbe.
After breakfast, transfer to Entebbe via Mbarara and have lunch on the way depending on time. You can make a stopover at the Equator for photos and then continue to Entebbe for an evening flight.
