Brief itinerary

Day 1. Arrival at Entebbe Airport and transfer to Murchison falls national park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

Day 3. Transfer to Kibale national park

Tour Itinerary

  • Day 1. Arrival at Entebbe Airport and transfer to Murchison falls national park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

    Your driver guide will pick you from Entebbe Airport and then set off for an early transfer for about 8 hours’ drive to Murchison falls national park. Along the way we stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino trekking and later continue to the park, visit the top of the falls as you continue to check in to the Lodge for dinner and a night.

    OVERNIGHT AT HORNBILL BUSH LODGE.

  • Day 2. Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise.

    . Go for an early morning safari to search for the cats within their hunting den since it’s the best time to spot the cats like lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals plus the herbivores coming out to graze like elephants, buffaloes, hippos, antelopes, warthogs and a number of bird species roosting on the tree branches while making different sounds and displaying their physical displays like hornbills, starlings, weavers, eagles, sunbirds, and hawks among other species. After lunch you will go for a 3 hour boat cruise to the bottom of the falls with chances to spot the water loving animals like hippos, crocodiles, lizards, elephants and buffaloes along the banks plus a number aquatic birds like cormorants, fish eagle, kingfishers, jacanas etc.

    OVERNIGHT AT HORNBILL BUSH LODGE.

     

  • Day 3. Transfer to Kibale national park.

    Prepare for a long journey for about 10 hour drive to Kibale forest area, on the way you pass through the beautiful natured local villages with different cultures, local markets, tea plantations plus scenic hilly areas. Have lunch on the way as you continue to check-in to the lodge in Kibale for relaxation and a night. OVERNIGHT AT NKURUBA LODGE

  • Day 4. Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park.

    After breakfast go for a morning chimpanzee trekking that starts with a short briefing at Kanyanchu headquarters and then after you are guided by a ranger guide to go trek the chimpanzee. You will also get a chance to spot other primates like red tailed monkey, red colobus, black and white colobus plus animals like forest elephants, buffaloes, duikers and forest birds like turacos, hornbills, shrikes among others and then after drive for about 4 hours to Queen Elizabeth national park via the Kasenda crater lakes for photography as you continue to check in to the lodge in Queen Elizabeth national park for a night.

    OVERNIGHT AT PUMBA SAFARI COTTAGES. 

  • Day 5. Morning safari and afternoon boat cruise.

    Wake up early morning and go for a morning safari in the Kasenyi sector of Queen Elizabeth national park, here you have chances to spot for the big cats like lions, leopards, hyenas plus other animal species like elephants, buffaloes, hippos, kobs, warthogs and a variety of bird species like eagles, vultures, hawks, weavers as you continue for a visit to the salt lake to see how salt is mined and later transfer for lunch. After lunch go for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel that connects the two lakes Edward and George. Here you also gets chances to see as more animals as possible like elephants, buffaloes, hippos resting the water, crocodiles along the banks plus a variety of water loving birds like cormorants, fish eagle, jacanas, king fishers among others and then drive to lodge for a night.

    OVERNIGHT AT PUMBA SAFARI COTTAGES. 

  • Day 6. Transfer to Ishasha and afternoon safari

    . Have breakfast and then after depart for a 3 hour drive to Ishasha. On your way you will get chances to see animals feeding along the way plus a number of birds flying in the air and others resting on tree branches as you continue to check in to the lodge for lunch and relax. After then go for an afternoon safari in jungle of Ishasha a home to the tree climbing lions plus other animals like leopards, hyenas, elephants, antelopes, baboons, buffaloes and a variety of bird species like storks, eagles, vultures, starlings among many more as you drive back to the lodge for dinner and a night. OVERNIGHT AT TOPI LODGE

  • Day 7. Morning safari and transfer to Bwindi.

    Have breakfast and then go for a morning safari in Ishasha to get the second chance to spot the tree climbing lions in case you missed them yesterday or spot as more animals and birds as possible and then after drive to the lodge for an early lunch. After lunch then drive for 3 hours to Bwindi forest national park as you pass through the terraced hills and thick forests of Bwindi and reach to the lodge in the evening hours to relax and have a night there.

     OVERNIGHT AT BUHOMA COMMUNITY

  • Day 8. Gorilla trekking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.

    Wake up early morning for breakfast and then drive to the park headquarters. Gorilla trekking starts with briefing at 8am and after you are divided into a group of 8 people assigned to a specific group of gorillas. You will go with a ranger guide to trek the gorillas and you allowed to spend one hours with the gorillas as you take as much photos as you can. The forest also has other animals like buffaloes, elephants, primates plus a number of bird species. After the trek set off for 4 hour drive to Lake Bunyonyi for a night.

    OVERNIGHT AT BUNYONYI ECO RESORT

  • Day 9. Transfer to Lake Mburo national park and afternoon safari.

    After breakfast depart for a 6 hour drive to Lake Mburo national park. You go through the mountainous nature of the area with cultivated hills plus meandering roads expecting to have lunch in Mbarara or at the lodge depending on time. In the afternoon you will go for a game drive in an open savannah of the park with chance to spot different kinds of animals like buffaloes, zebras, impalas, giraffes, warthogs, baboons plus a variety of birds like eagles, crested crane, hornbills, starlings and many more and then drive to the lodge for a night.

    OVERNIGHT AT EAGLES NEST

  • Day 10. Morning safari and transfer to Entebbe

     

    Have breakfast and then after drive to jungle for an early morning safari with chances to spot the cats hunting like leopards, hyenas, jackals plus others animals like  buffaloes, zebras, impalas, giraffes, warthogs, baboons plus a variety of birds like eagles, crested crane, hornbills, starlings and many more and then after depart for a 7 hour drive to Entebbe. You will make a stopover at the equator for lunch and photography as you continue to Entebbe for a flight.

  • Every trip a client confirms with us, he or she has directly supported an orphan since we take 10$ from our sales directly to the orphanage we support.
  • we support LIGHTS OF KAZINGA ORPHANAGE. Its an orphanage deep in kyambura village just at the edge of Queen Elizabeth national park and we normally take our clients to the orphanage to have an interaction with these disadvantaged children, you could even participate to take part in some activities such as pedal sew, weave baskets, dance, sing and drum.
  • You can support an orphan more if you buy some of crafts these kids produce them selves, Tshirts and other things.
  • you can also decide to sponsor a child to go to school and by doing this, you will have given a good life to the the child for the rest of his/her life.
  • The money that we get is used to directly support these orphans by paying school fees, buying scholastic materials, food, building a home for them.
