Day 1. Entebbe arriving night time, transfer to Tilapia Lodge.
Meet your driver guide at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to the nearest Lodge. Overnight at Tilapia Lodge
Day 2 Morning Mabamba Swamp, Continue to Lake Mburo National Park.
After breakfast head to Mabamba Wetland for shoebill trekking. Mabamba wetland is a few kilometers from Entebbe and shoebill trek to the swamp is done by the boat with a guide. You have a chance to see other bird species like kingfishers, jacanas, herons and after transfer to Lake Mburo national park as you check in to the lodge for dinner and go for a night game drive in the park giving you chances of seeing big hunting like lion, leopard, hyenas, and jackals. Overnight Rwakobo Rock.
Day 3 Morning game drive in the park, Afternoon boat on the lake (Finfoot!).
After breakfast, go for a morning game drive in Lake Mburo national park through the designed tracks for gaming to spot some rare animals like zebras, giraffes, impalas, elands and other animals like herds of buffalos, leopard, baboons, monkeys, warthogs plus a variety of bird species. Transfer back to lodge for lunch and after go for an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo to spot the rare African finfoot and other birds like jacanas, fish eagle, kingfisher and animals like hippos, warthogs. Overnight at Rwakobo Rock.
Day 4 Drive to Ruhija. Afternoon birding around Ruhija (if time).
Wake up early, have breakfast and set off for a 5 to 6 hour drive to Ruhija sector of Bwindi forest National Park. Check in to the lodge for lunch and relax at the lodge or go birding around to spot a variety of forest birds like shrikes, cuckoos, woodpeckers among others, Overnight at Gorilla Mist lodge
Day 5 Full day forest hike to Green Broadbill and Grauer’s Swamp Warbler sites.
After breakfast go for a full day forest hike where you spot a variety of most interesting bird species like green broadbill, warblers, shrikes, gonolek, hornbills, turaccos, among other bird species and also have chances of seeing primates like colobus, red tailed monkey, blue monkey and other animals like forest hog, buffaloes, forest elephant. Overnight at gorilla mist camp.
Day 6. Morning birding Ruhija and along the way to Buhoma.
After breakfast, go for a morning birding in the Ruhija sector of the forest to spot different bird species and also on the way as you transfer to Buhoma sector of the forest. Overnight at Buhoma Community Guest-house.
Day 7 Full day in Buhoma hiking to waterfalls, Short-tailed Warbler etc.
Enjoy a full day hike in Buhoma where you explore the waterfalls plus hiking to the best birding spots to spot a variety of bird species like the short tailed Warbler, turaccos among others. Overnight at Buhoma community Camp.
Day 8 Morning Gorilla Trek, afternoon drive to Ishasha.
After breakfast, go for gorilla trekking that starts with a briefing at the park headquarters at 8am. Here you go in a group of about of 8 people with the trained ranger guides to trek the Gorillas. After meeting the gorillas, you are allowed to stay with them for one hour as you take more photos as you wish and you also have chances of seeing other primates like blue monkey, Lo’hoest monkey plus animals like forest hogs, bushbucks, forest elephants and a variety of bird species and then after transfer to Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park. Overnight at Topi Lodge.
Day 9 Morning Game drive in Ishasha sector and transfer to northern part of Queen Elizabeth national park, evening Kyambura community walk. Have breakfast early morning and then go for a morning game drive to spot the tree climbing lions resting on branches or going out to hunt plus other animals like elephants, herds of buffaloes, warthogs, bushbucks, Kobs, leopards and a variety of bird species like eagles, hawks, vultures, weavers and many more and then after transfer to the other part of Queen Elizabeth national park with a target to reach the lodge at lunch time. After lunch go for an evening Kyambura community walk with a visit to the twin lakes. Overnight at Pumba Safari Cottages.
Day 10. Morning safari in Kasenyi and afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel.
After breakfast go for a morning safari in the Kasenyi sector. Here you can also get a chance to spot lions, leopards, hyenas hunting plus the grazers coming from their roosting places to graze like buffaloes, hippos, Kobs, elephants, bushbucks and bird species plus visiting the Kasenyi salt lake. After go to lunch and relax at the lodge. After lunch go for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel with chances of seeing more hippos yawning, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles and water loving birds. Like kingfishers, cormorants, fish eagle. Overnight at Pumba Safari Cottages.
Day 11 Morning Chimp trek in Kyambura Gorge then continue to kibale national park.
Wake up early morning and go chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge. The gorge is about 10 km long with the tall ever green trees that are habitats for the chimps. You spend 2 to 3 hours trekking for the chimps and viewing other primates, animals and birds. After continue to Kibale national park while enjoying of mountain ranges of Rwenzori and pass via the Crater Lake area of Kasenda as you check in to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Overnight at Kibale Forest Lodge.
Day 12 Early morning forest walk and afternoon Bigodi swamp walk.
Go for a morning forest walk, the walk in the forest involves some hikes to some of the interesting spots for primates like red tailed monkey, mangbies, blue monkey, and black and white colobus and also if lucky you can see chimps hanging on branches of trees plus other animals like forest elephants, forest hogs, bears, bushbucks. You also try to spot a number of bird species tinker birds, pigeons, sunbirds, Greenbul, bee eaters, turaccos among others and transfer to the lodge for a night. Overnight at Lake Nkuruba Nature Reserve.
Day 13 relaxed morning at Lake Nkuruba before drive to Hoima.
Wake up at any time you wish to have breakfast at and then relax at the lodge as you prepare for a 5 hour drive to Hoima for a night. On your way, you pass through cultivated hills, local markets, and tea plantations and continue to drive to Hoima for a night. Overnight at Kontik hotel.
Day 14 drive to Kidepo, arriving at Kidepo Savanna Lodge with some time for relaxing.
After breakfast, go for a 6 to 7 hour drive heading to Kidepo valley national park and arrive for a late lunch at the lodge and relax. Overnight at Savannah Lodge.
Day 15 Full day exploring Kidepo National Park.
Spend a full day in Kidepo national park with the morning and afternoon game drives with a target to spot as many wild life as you can like herds of buffaloes, elephants, elands, monkeys, duikers, oribis, warthogs, cheetah, lions, leopards and lots of bird species like hornbills, starlings, hawks, eagles, vultures and later rest at lodge with the view of the sun rise. Overnight at savannah Lodge
Day 16 Drive from Kidepo to Murchison falls national park.
After break, depart for 8 hour drive to Murchison falls national park. You will have lunch on the way as you continue and check in to the lodge late in the evening. Overnight at hornbill bush lodge
Day 17 Morning game drive in Delta area followed by afternoon boat on the Nile. After breakfast, go for a morning game drive through the designed tracks of the park with chances of seeing cats hunting like lions, leopards, jackals, hyenas plus other animals coming out to graze like elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, heartbeest, duickers, giraffes and a p98lenty of bird life. Have lunch at Red chill and then go for a 3 hour afternoon boat cruise on the Nile to spot the water loving animals like Nile crocodiles, hippos plus aquatic birds like kingfishers, cormorants, geese and many more. Overnight at hornbill bush Lodge.
Day 18. Transfer to Jinja via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino trekking.
Have breakfast and after transfer to Jinja via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino trekking. On the way visit the top of the falls as you continue to Ziwa. Rhino trekking starts with the briefing from the ranger guide and go to trek the rhinos for one hour, then have lunch at Ziwa and after transfer to Jinja for a night. Overnight at kingfisher lodge
Day 19. Morning boat cruise and transfer to Entebbe for flight.
After breakfast, go for a morning boat cruise to the source of the Nile with lots of birds like goliath heron, kingfishers, cormorants, fish eagles and many more and then after transfer to Entebbe for flight.
