3 Days Gorilla Trek Uganda – Bwindi Gorilla trekking Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. You will drive through Uganda’s beautiful countryside, passing rolling hills, local villages, and tea plantations.
Along the way, you will have a stop at the Equator for photos and a short break before continuing towards southwestern Uganda. After lunch en route, proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.
Arrive in the evening, check in at your lodge, relax, and prepare for the next day’s unforgettable gorilla trekking experience.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing by rangers from Uganda Wildlife Authority.
You will then enter the dense rainforest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek can take between 2–6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas.
Once you find them, you will spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat—watching them feed, play, and interact.
Return to the lodge in the afternoon to relax or take an optional community or nature walk.

Day 3: Return to Kampala / Entebbe
After breakfast, begin the scenic journey back to Kampala or Entebbe.
Enjoy beautiful views of Uganda’s countryside with a lunch stop along the way. You will arrive in the late afternoon or evening, marking the end of your incredible gorilla trekking adventure.
