Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park – Primate Capital of the World
Your safari begins with pickup from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe.
Enjoy a scenic drive through tea plantations, rural villages, and the beautiful countryside as you head to Kibale National Park, home to over 13 primate species including chimpanzees.
Optional afternoon visit to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for bird watching and community interaction.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for briefing by rangers from the Uganda Wildlife Authority.
Enter the forest for an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale National Park. Once the chimps are located, spend one hour observing their behavior in the wild.
After lunch, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most popular wildlife park known for its savannah plains, crater lakes, and diverse wildlife.

Day 3: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Safari
Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Look out for elephants, buffaloes, lions, antelopes, and many bird species across the savannah plains.
In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat safari along the famous Kazinga Channel. This natural water channel connects Lake Edward and Lake George and is known for one of the highest concentrations of hippos and crocodiles in Africa.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After breakfast, travel through the beautiful Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions.
Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that protects nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.
Spend the evening relaxing at your lodge while preparing for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking – Return to Kampala or Entebbe
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before your gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
The trek can take between 2–6 hours depending on the location of the gorilla family. Once the gorillas are found, spend one magical hour observing them in their natural habitat.
After the trek, begin your return journey to Kampala or Entebbe with a stop at the Uganda Equator for photos and souvenirs.
